What is Progress Bar?
Overview
A progress bar is a graphical control element used to view the progress of an extended computer operation, such as app installation, upload, download, or file transfer.
A progress bar is used to indicate the progress of a process. Typically, progress bars are not clickable and progress bars use a linear function, such that the advancement of a progress bar is directly proportional to the amount of work that has been completed.
Adding a progress bar element to a design creates ideas of movement, progress, and achievement, not to mention the aforementioned lack of uncertainty. The process is also humanized and personalized by creating a step-by-step tracker.
