The research and planning guide aims to make the process organized and easy to understand. It is a practical inquiry that uses empirical observations in the development and evaluation of plans or plan inquiry.
In its simplest form, research & planning consists of four distinct steps outlined below: orienting oneself towards knowledge-creation; defining your research question; reviewing previous research on your question, and then selecting the relevant data to prepare your answers. Because the focus of this guide is on planning a research project, as opposed to conducting a research project, this section will not go into details of data-collection or analysis; Those phases are followed by the planning of the project.
